The 4th Annual Chattahoochee Valley Writers' Conference in Columbus, Georgia is scheduled for September 23 through 25, 2010.
John Langan will lead a workshop entitled "Autobiography & Writing the Fantastic ."
Rick Campbell will lead a workshop entitled "First the Poem, Then the Book".
A workshop entitled "Writing Through Grief" will be led by Jessica Handler.
A workshop on "Publishing in Today's World" will be led by John P. Travis.
Sarah C. Campbell will lead a workshop on "Photos + Stories = Winning Nonfiction & Earn $$ Before Getting Published."
"Poetry About Poetry: How Language Looks at Itself" will be led by Carey Scott Wilkerson.
A workshop on "How to Write a Novel in 30 Days" will be led by Elsie Austin.

Registration fees for the 2010 Conference are:
General Registration until September 6: $55.00
General Registration September 6 and after: $70.00
Senior Citizens (65+ yrs), Active Duty Military, Young People (under 19 years of age) & College Students: $60.00.
Want an expert critique of your novel, short story, poem, or other manuscript by a professional editor and publisher? Then send it with a submission fee of $50.00 to Chattahoochee Valley Writers' Conference, and Mr. John Travis, Editor & Publisher of Portals Press (http://www.portalspress.com/) in New Orleans will read it, mark it, and discuss it with you one-on-one Saturday, September 25. All submissions must be in accordance with the rules published here.
